A project financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange was launched at the beginning of November.
The University of Business in Wrocław became the beneficiary of the Modern Foreign Promotion program, whose aim is to support the university in increasing its visibility outside of the country. The program is supported by the National Academic Exchange Agency.
The target group of the project are young people aged 17-19 interested in studying abroad, coming from Eastern and Southern Europe, Asia and Africa, including India, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and countries of Sub-Saharan Africa.
As part of the project, five ambassadors from five different countries will be recruited from university students. Using an application dedicated to the project, they will be in constant contact with candidates for studies. In social media channels they will share useful information about the recruitment process, the universitiy, lecturers, available directions, etc.
The project was created in response to the following needs:
• insufficient own funds for conducting promotional / recruitment activities on foreign markets,
• the need to find more effective and less costly way of reaching a potential target group,
• using the university's promotional potential basing on its own graduates from target countries and strengthening their ties with partner universities.
